Why we exist
Someone has to pick up.
I kept meeting people running good businesses who were losing work for a reason that had nothing to do with how good they were. A plumber who’s brilliant at his job still can’t answer the phone with his head under a sink. A salon owner can’t stop mid-colour. The call rings out, the customer rings the next name down, and that’s a job gone that nobody did anything wrong to lose.
Hiring a receptionist fixes it and almost nobody can justify one. So Reception Hub is the middle option: a real person who has learned your business, answers in your name, and does something useful with the call instead of just writing down that it happened.
We’re not a call centre and we’re not trying to become one. We’re in Wath upon Dearne, you can come and see us, and if something goes wrong you’ll be speaking to me about it.

I started Reception Hub because I kept meeting people running good businesses who were losing work for a reason that had nothing to do with how good they were. They were busy. The phone rang. That was it.
So we do the unglamorous part. We learn your business properly, we answer in your name, and we treat the person on the line like they matter, because to you they do.
